Lost Tooth

Grant FINALLY lost that wiggley, giggly, big front tooth!!! The tooth fairy brought a whopping $3.00!!! Was that because it was the 3rd tooth? What a lucky boy!

Bales of Hay

I don't think there is any other boy in the planet who could fish as much as Grant. He could go every single day and twice if I'd let him! So proud of how smart you have become in your academics at school! You deserve to have fun everyday at the pond!

First Dove Hunt

First "real" dove hunt with Daddy. Grant shot two dove and had the time of his life with his best buddy! He's hooked, just like fishing!

The Last Day of School for Kindergarten

Grant's Kindergarten year started off a little rocky. The verdict's still out who it was tougher for, Mommy or G-. By the time the year finished, Grant made a huge change! Not only did he love school (maybe not the getting up early part), but he made great friends, had the best teachers, learned to draw the coolest pictures, and even learned to speak Chinese!!!

On the last day while driving to school he said, "Mommy, school only felt like it lasted only 10 days!". I replied, "You remember that at the beginning of 1st grade!"

A Boy & Baseball

This year Grant played t-ball for Stokesdale. He played first base for the Indians and loved every minute of it! It doesn't get much more "American" than going to the little league games. The boys are bored after about 30 minutes, pick the clovers in the out field and dig dirt around the bases on the infield, but oh how they love to bat! Can't wait to see if he continues next year.

Grant still does and I have a feeling always will LOVE to fish!!! This was a snapshot taken by his cousin Katie as he was coming back from the pond with a group of friends. ( I hope he shared his rod with the two boys on the right!!!) No one should be with out the experience of catching a fish for the first time!!! Truly...Hook, Line & Sinker!!!

What exactly is this ?

What is it about this Bakugan thing? I completely don't understand it, but I guess I don't have to. It's a constant game of trying to find the latest and greatest. Thanks to Grandma's super lucky find, she scored with ALL the new shapes (stay tuned for more to come at a later date).
And could someone explain to me why is it so bad to leave a child's toy with a $4.94price tag? After several months of out of stock shelves and only a few of the same ole' balls at any one given time, they have JACKED the price up to $7.98!!! Well it was nice while it lasted.
